社会排斥与儿童福祉

讲座内容：

Social exclusion is recognized as a risk factor for children's health outcomes. Nevertheless, scant literature has investigated its dynamics, effects, and mechanisms on multiple domains of child well‐being. In doing so, the present study delved into four research questions:(1) How to comprehensively conceptualize and operationalize social exclusion among children? (2) How do different aspects of social exclusion influence multiple indicators of child well-being? (3) Whether the effect of social exclusion on child well-being differs by migration status? and (4) What are the psychosocial mechanisms between social exclusion and child well-being? Theoretically, this study presents an integrated conceptual framework that reveals the underlying pathway from social exclusion to child well-being. The present study also sheds light on practical implications for social policy and social work interventions to reduce social exclusion, so as to promote the well-being of Chinese children.

姜山, 香港中文大学社会福利博士, 现任浙江大学社会学系新百人计划二类研究员。研究领域包括社会工作、社会政策、儿童福祉、精神健康等。其研究发表于 Journal of Adolescence, Journal of Interpersonal Violence, Journal of Affective Disorders等学术期刊。
